Being highly myopic from a young age, I
developed an interest in the interpretation
of shapes and the way that it unlocked the
imagination. I pursued Mathematics and
Sciences and learned to play the piano in
my youth.
When I trained as a pharmacist in the West
Country, I fell in love with nature, the
undulations of the land, and ever-changing sky.
Years later, my interest in art led me to study
sculpture and Fine Art, gradually learning to
describe what I saw and felt in an increasingly
abstract way. It is the loose interpretation that
I seek, a portal to open a channel of
communication for the viewer to interpret the
work in a highly personal manner.
